LOCATED ON ENGLAND’S MOST BEAUTIFUL COASTLINE

Poole Harbour

Holly View is located by Poole Harbour, the second largest natural harbour in the world, and is a short walk from Sandbanks.

Sandbanks is renowned for its extensive “Blue Flag” white sand beaches, naturally mild climate and warm waters and is one of the UK’s most beautiful and sought after seaside locations. The famous beaches at Studland and Swanage
on the Isle of Purbeck are easily accessed via the Sandbanks ferry.

The waters are popular all year round for sports including windsurfing, kite surfing, sailing, jet skiing and swimming. Located close by are the popular boating establishments and associated facilities of Parkstone Yacht Club, Salterns Marina and the Royal Motor Yacht Club.

In addition to sailing and other water sports, in the local area there is tennis (e.g. East Dorset Lawn Tennis Club), cycling, horse riding and golf (e.g. Parkstone Golf Club, Isle of Purbeck Golf Club).

For walking enthusiasts, there are few better English locations. The Jurassic Coast is England’s first Natural World Heritage site and provides some of England’s most dramatic scenery and walks.

For the more culturally minded, the Lighthouse Centre for the arts is located in Poole and hosts regular exhibitions, cinema screenings and theatre performances. The Bournemouth International Centre also hosts regular concerts and exhibitions.

There are also plenty of dining options in the area. Rick Stein and The Haven Hotel in Sandbanks both offer stunning views of Poole Harbour.  The Pig on Beach is located just across the bay in Studland. Alternatively, Poole is home to a number of fresh, local seafood restaurants.

There are also a number of highly regarded private and state schools in and around the Poole area.
